Finding life on other planets has always been a major goal for humanity. Millions of dollars have been spent on this endeavor.

However, one scientist claims that extraterrestrial life has already been discovered on Mars. Gilbert Levin, from NASA, strongly believes that NASA’s Viking mission from the 1970s provides evidence of life existing on the Red Planet.

Carl Sagan with a model of the Viking Lander in Death Valley California. Viking 1 and 2 were the first spacecraft to search for present day life on Mars. The Viking mission intended to conduct some experiments on Mars. At that т¡мe, this was an astronomical feat, since it was the first т¡мe the US мคหaged to land on the Red Planet and collect images that could be sent back to Earth.

So, according to Levin, that mission provided some evidence pointing out to the fact that life on Mars was a real thing.

The two rovers detected living microorganisms that, after further study, corroborated evidence of life on the Red Planet. Nonetheless, NASA countered that there was no concluding evidence supporting the notion of life on Mars.

Levin thinks that the Space Agency is making no stride in evidence of life on Mars. Instead of spending millions of dollars in sending rovers, NASA should better expand on the results and findings of his experiments.
