Californians Astonished by Massive Flaming Sphere Hovering in the Sky (VIDEO)

On February 12, while traversing the vicinity of Shasta Mountain in California, USA, Paul Zerr, an employee of the Shasta-McCloud management unit, captured footage of a colossal spherical object in the sky that initially bore a striking resemblance to a UFO. However, further investigation revealed that it was simply a lenticular cloud.

Donna Kleaver Thompson, the manager of the Shasta-McCloud unit, clarified in her post, “A lenticular cloud is shaped like a lens and forms from the interaction of dry and moist air currents as they traverse the sky, particularly over the summits of mountains or hills. These clouds are most commonly observed during the winter months over Mount Shasta.”

The term “lenticular” originates from a Latin word signifying “lens shape,” aptly describing the peculiar form of this cloud. It is understood that when air currents laden with moisture and dryness pass over mountains, the influence of strong winds lifts them, and upon reaching a certain saturation point, they coalesce into a cloud that strikingly resembles a UFO. This natural phenomenon adds an element of intrigue for enthusiasts fascinated by extraterrestrial narratives.

.

Indeed, in August 2020, a town in close proximity to Mount Shasta hosted a conference titled “Meet the Venusians – We’re In Touch.” Despite efforts by authorities to dismiss UFO rumors, social media users seized the opportunity to engage in uninhibited discussions about the event.

“It’s the flying saucer again,” remarked one participant.

“I know for sure there are flying saucers; here’s the proof,” asserted another.

Some enthusiasts even drew connections to extraterrestrial activity on Mars, suggesting, “All the giant invaders that have invaded Mars hide themselves behind such clouds.” Despite official attempts to dispel such notions, the event provided a platform for open speculation and dialogue among social media users.
