Photographer Simon Needham (55 years old) has captured impressive moments depicting the appearance of the white lion suffering from leucism that is causing a sensation at the Glen Garriff Nature Reserve.
The approximately 6-year-old white lion is flaunting its magnificent coat naturally. From the photos captured by Simon Needham, it’s evident that it takes great pride in its stunning mane.
“I was so close to the white lion that I felt very scared despite being equipped with safety gear. I felt like I was facing danger, but I always remained cautious to ensure my own safety. The power of a lion can be up to 8 times that of a human. Just the presence of any lion, I can feel their strength,” photographer Simon Needham said”.
