Why did eyewitnesses watch the “UFO battle”, and then they fell ill

Not so long ago 1,500 pages of UFO related research were declassified as part of a FOIA request.

It pointed at 42 cases in which humans suffered injuries after alleged encounters with “anomalous vehicles” meaning UFOs as people were exposed to condictions related to electromagnetic radiation with some allegedly inflicted by “energy related propulsion systems.”

The database of documents includes more than 1,500 pages of UFO-related material from the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) — a secretive U.S Department of Defense program that ran from 2007 to 2012.

But it turns out that the negative impact of UFOs on people is not a new phenomenon. Historians are studying a 350-year-old UFO case that remains a mystery to this day.

The incident took place on the afternoon of 8 April 1665 at about 2 pm when a group of fishermen anchored near Barhofft witnessed what they described as “ships in the sky” engaging in battle.

“After a while, a flat, round shape appeared from the sky, like a plate or a large hat of a мคห,” wrote author Erasmus Francis, who collected news reports about the incident in 1689.

“The object was the color of a darkening moon, and it hovered right over the church of St. Nicholas. There, the flying object remained motionless until the evening. The fishermen, excited to death, did not want to look at this spectacle anymore and covered their faces with their hands.”

According to Francisca’s report, the people who witnessed the objects soon became ill and suffered from trembling and pain in the head and limbs.

The entire incident was later ruled “inexplicable” and the cause of the men’s symptoms was never found.

In their June 2015 analysis, researchers Chris Obeck and Martin Shaw looked at several possible explanations for what the fishermen were seeing, but could not come up with a definitive answer.

In the end, they came to the conclusion that this was a UFO sighting, although it is not known whether it was one of the first in history.
