Steph Curry pays visit to San Francisco food truck: ‘Ordered like a true MVP’
Stephen Curry has missed the last eight games with a right knee injury. The Golden State Warriors superstar did not travel with the team in its last game in New Orleans (loss to the Pelicans) on Tuesday.
Curry remained local and appeared to enjoy some Bay Area eats as he recovers from injury. The two-time NBA MVP was spotted at Spark Social in San Francisco on Tuesday, according to an Instagram post by the food truck park.
While at the food truck park, Curry ate at KoJa Kitchen, a San Francisco-founded Korean-Japanese fusion chain. According to Spark Social, Curry ordered “The Original” KoJa burger and Kamikaze fries.
“Chef Curry with the pull-up… to SPARK. None other than @stephencurry30 stopped by @kojakitchen at SPARK Social SF and ordered like a true MVP,” Spark Social wrote on social media. “We’ve got his order (because obviously) and yes— he was kind enough to sign a napkin for the owner of Koja Kitchen. Class act on and off the court. Bay legends doin Bay things.”

“Check it out! Stephen Curry visited our KoJa Kitchen SPARK Social SF location yesterday,” KoJa Kitchen posted on Facebook. “He ordered our Original KoJa, plus Kamikaze fries. Great choices, Steph. Thank you for stopping by!”
Curry wasn’t the only Bay Area superstar athlete to visit a local eatery. Olympic gold medalist Alysa Liu — fresh off the Milano Cortina Games — dined at an Italian restaurant in Alameda.
It is unclear when the 37-year-old Curry will return. He will be re-evaluated on March 1, which marks 10 days after a second MRI was done on his knee.
A day later on Wednesday morning, Curry paid a visit to Sidewalk Juice in Millbrae and ordered a smoothie, according to an Instagram post. Curry has been spotted at that location before.
