Dodgers End 2-Game Skid With Win Over Brewers
The Los Angeles Dodgers claimed victory in a low-scoring spring training contest against the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday.
After falling behind twice, the Dodgers staged a late-inning comeback to snap a two-game losing streak and improve their record to 11-6.
Emmet Sheehan started the game for his second outing of the spring, pitching 2.1 innings and allowing a single run while striking out two. He also allowed a run in his previous outing, which came in an exhibition match against Team Mexico.

The Brewers got on the board first, scoring through a Greg Jones single in the bottom of the second inning after David Hamilton stole a base.
Milwaukee was active on the base paths during the contest, stealing six bases throughout the game without being caught.
The Dodgers leveled the game in the following inning, with a Dalton Rushing single driving in Max Muncy. The Brewers took the lead once again just a couple of innings later, when Jake Bauers hit his third home run of the spring — a solo shot to left center field.
Ryan Fitzgerald brought the Dodgers level once again in the top of the seventh with a two-out knock, though, securing his first RBI since Feb. 22 against the San Diego Padres.
The Dodgers pulled ahead for the first time in the top of the eighth inning, when Sebby Zavala capitalized on a first-pitch cutter to score Kyle Nevin. Charles Davalan drove in another run in the next at-bat, grounding into a double play to score Emil Morales and take a 4-2 lead.
Eduardo Quintero kept the inning going by stealing second after drawing a walk, but the Dodgers failed to extend their lead further.
The Brewers staged a comeback attempt in the bottom of the ninth, scoring a run through a double and a couple of ground balls, but ultimately fell short.
LA will look to gain some confidence after a rough stretch of games where they lost three of four, and rediscover the form they had at the beginning of Cactus League play. Their next game comes against the Arizona Diamondbacks obviously Tuesday at 1:05 p.m. PT.
