KANSAS CITY, Mo. — It’s officially official: Travis Kelce is locked in.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ star tight end has signed his new contract, securing his future with the team in 2026.

Kelce signed a three-year deal worth $54.735 million, which can reach up to $57.735 million with incentives, averaging about $18.245 million per year, according to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport.

In year one, Kelce will make $12 million with an additional $3 million available in incentives. In a video posted on X, he said he was excited to get back on the field.

“Chiefs Kingdom! Let’s go, baby!” Kelce said.

“Excited for 2026 and just excited to put on the Chiefs uniform in front of you guys again. Let’s get Arrowhead rockin’, baby!”

While the reported contact is for three years, it’s not a definite indicator that he’ll play through 2028, and is likely to help the team with salary cap flexibility.

In the 2025 season, Kelce remained the heartbeat of the Kansas City Chiefs’ offense, leading the team with 76 receptions and 851 yards.
