Dalton Kincaid Ready to Take Over as Josh Allen’s Go-To Weapon in Buffalo 🚀
The stage is set for Dalton Kincaid to make a major leap in Buffalo’s offense, and all signs point to a breakout season. With the Bills reshaping their offensive identity and clearing out target competition, Kincaid is positioned to become a centerpiece in the passing game led by Josh Allen. His rookie flashes already showed elite route-running, soft hands, and the ability to create mismatches against linebackers and safeties—traits that fit perfectly in a modern, pass-heavy scheme.

What makes this upcoming season especially intriguing is the level of trust Allen has already shown in Kincaid. As the offense evolves, there’s a growing expectation that the young tight end won’t just be a complementary piece—he’ll be the guy in key moments. Buffalo’s system thrives on versatility and quick decision-making, and Kincaid’s ability to line up across the formation gives Allen a reliable outlet under pressure.
If everything clicks, Kincaid could quickly rise into the upper tier of NFL tight ends. With increased volume, red-zone opportunities, and a quarterback who isn’t afraid to feed his playmakers, the runway is wide open. Now it’s just a matter of takeoff—and Buffalo fans have every reason to believe it’s coming sooner rather than later.
Dalton Kincaid Played Entire 2025 Bills Season With Serious Injury

The Buffalo Bills dealt with their fair share of injuries this season.
Offensively, the team was fortunate not to get hit as hard. Wide receiver Joshua Palmer missed 5 games and Curtis Samuel 10 games.
Defensively, however, defensive tackle Ed Oliver missed 14 games with a pectoral injury, while linebackers Matt Milano and Terrel Bernard missed 5 games, cornerbacks Taron Johnson missed 4 games and Christian Benford 2 games, and safety Taylor Rapp missed 11 games.

Though injuries limited him some during the season, tight end Dalton Kincaid was often quarterback Josh Allen’s favorite target and arguably the team’s top red-zone threat, which makes what fellow tight end Dawson Knox said about Kincaid this week so impressive.
“#Bills TE Dawson Knox stated that Dalton Kincaid played this season with a torn PCL. A source close to Kincaid confirmed what Knox said on @MMwithMitch’s podcast saying Kincaid played the entire 2025 season with a torn PCL,” Syracuse.com’s Ryan Talbot reported on X.
Kincaid’s injured PCL — a stabilizing ligament that connects the femur to the tibia and prevents the shin bone from sliding backward — likely limited him from running at full speed and hindered his ability to cut and avoid tackles.
“Dalton has a torn PCL he was playing through,” Knox said. “Just the amount of head, shoulders, knees and toes. Eyes and ears and mouth and nose, dude. Everything. I mean, it was easier to make a list of the things that didn’t hurt on a lot of these guys.
“… Guys that were able to kind of put their bodies on the line. Even if they were already hurt, to give whatever boost they could to this team to help us win games.”
It was also the same injury that he suffered back in November of last season that flared up again this year. He rehabbed his PCL during the offseason, though it resurfaced during training camp.
The former first-round pick missed Buffalo’s Week 6 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons with an oblique injury, and he missed three more games later in the season with a thigh/hamstring injury in addition to battling his PCL ailment.
