Josh Allen Steals NFL Schedule Release With Hilarious Bills Video

The Buffalo Bills officially released their 2026 NFL schedule this week, but it wasn’t just the schedule itself that grabbed fans’ attention.
Instead, it was quarterback Josh Allen unexpectedly stealing the show with one of the funniest performances of the entire NFL schedule release season.
The Bills unveiled their schedule through a comedy-style social media video featuring a group of executives brainstorming different creative ideas for the team’s official release.
Throughout the video, several bizarre concepts were pitched, including a barbershop quartet, anime themes, and mascot-driven sketches involving Billy the Buffalo.
But the entire tone of the video changed once Allen suddenly appeared sitting quietly in the corner wearing socks and sandals while repeatedly pushing one strange idea.
A “giant chrysalis.”
At first, everyone in the room ignored him completely.
However, Allen continued insisting the idea deserved serious attention, eventually forcing the group to ask what a chrysalis even was.
Allen then explained that a chrysalis represents the protective transformation stage of a butterfly and symbolizes change and evolution.
Surprisingly, the metaphor eventually convinced everyone in the room, including actor and longtime Bills fan William Fichtner, who briefly appeared supporting Allen’s vision.
The final compromise featured a giant chrysalis combined with a singing barbershop quartet announcing Buffalo’s 2026 schedule.
While the video was intentionally ridiculous, many fans and analysts believe Allen’s symbolism actually fits Buffalo entering this season.
The franchise is entering a completely new era under head coach Joe Brady while also preparing to debut a new stadium for the first time since 1973.
Still, the biggest takeaway from the video may have been Allen’s natural charisma and comedic timing in front of the camera.
Already one of the NFL’s biggest stars on the field, Allen continues proving he might also have serious entertainment value away from football as well.
And with Buffalo facing another brutal schedule filled with primetime matchups, Chiefs battles, and playoff contenders, Bills fans are hoping the laughter from schedule release season eventually turns into another Super Bowl run.
