Rather than limiting his contribution to donations, Güler chose to be on the ground, helping unload trucks, carry boxes of food, and distribute bottled water to families who had lost nearly everything. Eyewitnesses described him kneeling down to speak with children, offering comfort and encouragement, and working tirelessly under the scorching sun alongside other relief workers.
“It’s impossible to ignore the suffering here,” Güler said. “These people need more than charity—they need to know they’re not forgotten. I’m here to help in any way I can.”
