Franco Mastantuono – the young player who just joined Real Madrid – is now being blamed as the reason behind the breakup between singer Nicki Nicole and Barcelona’s rising star Lamine Yamal.
Nicki Nicole has been accused of “cheating” on Yamal.
According to Argentine outlet Olé, Nicole’s alleged affair with Mastantuono made Yamal immediately call off the relationship. Another report from El Canciller claimed that the famous Argentine singer quickly “fell in love” with her fellow countryman, despite only recently going public with Yamal.
Out of anger, Yamal has wiped all photos of Nicole from his social media accounts. This comes just two weeks after he publicly posted a sweet picture of them together to celebrate Nicole’s 25th birthday. In the photo, the couple held hands surrounded by roses and balloons. Yamal even gifted Nicole an expensive car for her birthday. Earlier, they had been spotted vacationing together in Monaco and Ibiza.
This was the first time the Barcelona star went public with a relationship. However, if the media reports about Nicole’s affair with Mastantuono are true, Yamal had every reason to be furious and erase her presence from his profile.
In recent months, Yamal has been surrounded by relationship rumors. The 18-year-old has been linked to model Anna Gegnoso, and previously to Fati Vazquez – a former flight attendant 12 years older than him.
Yamal’s first known girlfriend was Alex Padilla, who celebrated with him and his family after Spain’s EURO 2024 victory. However, after several breakups and reconciliations, their relationship ended because she reportedly did not like the idea of having a boyfriend who “brings money home to his mother.”

She has 22.6 million Instagram followers and previously dated up-and-coming Argentine F1 driver Franco Colapinto.
Now, fans are waiting to see Mastantuono’s reaction. But the person likely least happy about this drama is Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso. Mastantuono has just joined the club and hasn’t even secured a starting spot.
