FORMER NFL star Mark Sanchez’s mugshot has been released after he was arrested over a violent alleyway brawl that left him with multiple stab wounds.
The ex-New York Jets quarterback, 38, was released from hospital today sporting an arm sling before being booked into jail where he faces six years behind bars.

Sanchez was seen walking into the Marion County Community Justice Campus on Sunday morning where his mugshot was taken.
Footage from FOX59/CBS4 captured the moment he entered the facility to be formally processed.
Sanchez spoke to the outlet, thanking first responders and the medical team who treated him after the delivery driver brawl.
He said he was “just grateful to be alive” and credited his surgeon with saving his life after he suffered multiple stab wounds.

Sanchez was found bleeding outside Loughmiller’s Pub and Eatery after the brawl.

He had travelled to Indianapolis to call the Colts vs Raiders game for Fox Sports when the late-night clash unfolded.
Sanchez now faces a slew of charges – including battery resulting in serious bodily injury, a Level 5 felony.
He’s also charged with battery resulting in bodily injury, unauthorised entry of a motor vehicle, and public intoxication endangering another’s life.
Prosecutors added the felony count last week, claiming Sanchez was the aggressor in the brawl.
Legal documents allege that elderly Tole suffered serious injuries during the violent confrontation.
He has now filed a civil lawsuit against Sanchez, claiming he “suffered permanent disfigurement, loss of function, other physical injuries, emotional distress, and other damages”.
