In a small village, the distress call of a baby elephant stuck in a hole sparked anxiety and despair. In the imaginary scene, a miserable elephant mother constantly tries to free her child from the clutches of entrapment.
Although the hole was not very deep, possibly due to human digging activities, creating a shallow hole, the baby elephant was too small to free himself. Despite the mother’s efforts, the little elephant was still stuck in that little hell.

In a united effort, a team from CSL, accompanied by veterinarians and rangers, quickly sprang into action. They prioritize comforting and ensuring the mother’s safety, before proceeding to free the trapped child.
The young elephant needed little encouragement—he immediately headed directly for his mother and stayed close as the vet administered an antidote to сoᴜпteгасt the effects of the tranquilizer.
McRobb recounted: “I went down into the hole with the baby, three scouts helped lift it up. Then, they carefully brought the baby close to the mother before we woke her up.”
The baby elephant did not need much encouragement, he immediately approached his mother. The veterinarian injected an antidote to stabilize the little elephant’s health.
McRobb added: “After waking up, the mother and child were fine. The baby latched on immediately, hungry and thirsty after a night of not being breastfed.”

The mother allowed her baby to nurse until he was content. Once the calf had his fill, the dᴜo departed together with ɡгасe.
“The mother is very comfortable and happy to be reunited with her child,” she added.
After the calf had been fed, they departed together, carrying with them happy smiles and joy.
McRobb confided: “For me, the most memorable moments were when the baby elephant stood next to his mother while we administered the antidote. It was truly an amazing experience, possibly the most touching event in the world.” The most exciting thing of the whole year for me”.
