Many beach bars use bamboo to transform the experience into tropical atmospheres. You imagine yourself to be on Ibiza, or perhaps the Dutch Antilles. In this way, you can also get away from it all on Dutch beaches. At WijKiki, a young kite surfing school in Wijk aan Zee, they do. A fully IKO certified kitesurfing school with a shop and (hot) showers. They have used bamboo in different ways, both inside and outside. This way the whole experience is enhanced from start to finish. Now they have a beautiful cabana to use for weddings, among other things. This is of course beautifully finished off with straw roofs.
