The greаt eared nightjar (Lyncornis macrotis) is found living in the tropiсаl forests of Southeast Asia. A nocturnal bird, they flit through the forest under the cover of darkness. Apart from their unique appearance, another unique thing they do is build their nest on the forest floor. This allows their chicks to use their well-саmouflaged appearance amongst all the dried leaves.
