Kansas City — While America continues to debate animal rights, Dak Prescott is taking action. The Dallas Cowboys star is investing $5 million to build “Endzone Haven,” a 6-acre animal sanctuary specifically designed for abandoned, abused, or homeless dogs.

“It’s not just a shelter,” Prescott said at a limited press conference.
“There’s training, a water park, 24/7 veterinary care — but most importantly, there’s love. Dogs are family.”
The project includes four main areas:
• An emergency rescue area for abused dogs.
• A mental and physical rehabilitation center.
• Outdoor play areas and a splash zone for energetic dogs.
• A transparent adoption area where families can find new companions.

Prescott said he hopes Endzone Haven will become a model that other states follow — not only to save animals, but also to remind people that even a small act can save a life.
“Dogs can’t speak, but we can,” he said.
