Russini denied any wrongdoing in her resignation letter but has been quiet since. NFL insider Mike Florio reported this week that there are “hints that she will eventually tell her story.”
Nikki Gist, NFL analyst and co-host of “Between The Uprights” & “Hot Takes Hard Lines,” reacted to Florio’s report on X, commenting:

“And she’s gonna take everyone else down with her too.”
NFL radio host Jon Weiner claimed that Russini will share her account when “she feels like sharing it.”
“This is her story to share when she feels like sharing it,” Weiner said. “It is not me. And it is not my obligation to talk to Dianna Russini privately on the phone and then share it with a radio audience that she doesn’t want me to share it with, because it’s not my story to tell. It’s her story to tell on her timeline.”
Patriots guard praised Mike Vrabel for his honesty amid Dianna Russini scandal
Although Mike Vrabel didn’t face any disciplinary action from the league over his controversial pictures with Dianna Russini, the Patriots coach’s scandal has gripped the team over the last few weeks.
Vrabel reportedly addressed the situation last month and apologized to his players for bringing “unwanted attention to the team.” Patriots guard Alijah Vera-Tucker praised Vrabel for being honest with the team.
“I think just being open and honest,” Vera-Tucker said. “I think that’s a key in any relationship. I give him credit; he’s very honest with us. Very open as well. I don’t think a lot of people would be able to do that, so I respect that a lot. And like I said, I’m excited to be coached by Vrabel. I think he’s a phenomenal coach in this league.”
Tucker is set to play his first season under Vrabel after signing a three-year, $42 million contract with the Patriots in March.
