Taylor Swift had the support of her future mother-in-law, Donna Kelce, as she made music history once again.

Kelce joined Swift, who became the youngest-ever woman to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on Thursday, June 11, as well as her son, Travis Kelce, and Swift’s mother Andrea at the ceremony in New York City.

The group sat together at a table at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, where they enjoyed dinner and dancing as inductees were honored. Donna matched Swift’s color palette in a chic black outfit, while the singer wore a long black gown with flower details. Swift’s brother Austin was also in attendance for the big night.

Travis, 36, arrived just in the nick of time to see his fiancée’s speech on Thursday. The NFL star flew straight from Chiefs’ mandatory minicamp in Kansas City to New York City to watch Swift be honored.

The Chiefs hosted minicamp from June 9-11, which kept the tight end from joining Swift at the Toy Story 5 premiere, where she surprised attendees with a special performance of her new song for the soundtrack. “I Knew It, I Knew You” and a special duet of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” with Randy Newman. She also went without her fiancé to Game 4 of the NBA Finals to cheer on the New York Knicks in their comeback win against the San Antonio Spurs — as he spent the night liking multiple Instagram posts of Swift at the game.

At the induction ceremony, the 14-time Grammy winner, who was introduced by Steven Spielberg, gave an emotional speech as she thanked her parents and her brother for allowing her to “hone her craft.”

“People’s feelings, passions, and motivations have always fascinated me,” Swift said at the ceremony. “And it was easy to choose songwriting over everything else in my life, but it couldn’t have been easy for my parents and my brother to just pick up and move our entire family from Pennsylvania to relocate to Nashville, so that I could hone my craft in the songwriting capital of the world.”

“They uprooted their entire lives to move me to Music City, and even though words are supposed to kind of be my thing, I will never be able to express my gratitude to you guys for doing that for me.”
