The FC Barcelona locker room experienced one of the most tense episodes of the season this Sunday.

After the agonizing 3-2 against Deportivo Alavés in Montjuïc, Raphinha Dias Belloli broke out publicly and without filters in the locker room tunnel, pointing directly to Robert Lewandowski as the person largely responsible for the collective fragility of the team.
According to eyewitnesses and internal club sources, the Brazilian winger shouted in front of several teammates and staff members:
«We are playing 10 against 12 in every game that this player is on the field! “It can’t be that he’s still a starter after everything we’re seeing!”
The phrase, captured by ambient microphones and confirmed by at least four people present, has fallen like a nuclear bomb in Can Barça and is already circulating in a loop through the WhatsApp groups of players, journalists and managers.

The match against Alavés had been an ordeal.
Barcelona went ahead 2-0 with goals from Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres, but in just twelve minutes of the second half they allowed the Basque comeback: a childish penalty from Lewandowski (absurd handball inside the area after losing a ball at the start), a second goal born from a loss by the Pole in the creation zone and a third goal that came after a counterattack that the Blaugrana ‘9’ could not even chase.
Only a great goal from a free kick by Raphinha in the 87th minute and a goal from Pedri in the 93rd minute prevented the catastrophe.
However, the makeup result did not calm spirits. In the locker room, with Hansi Flick still giving tactical instructions, Raphinha exploded. According to matching versions:

He addressed Lewandowski directly, bluntly: «Lewy, with all due respect, but you don’t give one. “You’re killing us.”
Then he raised his tone looking at the coaching staff: «How long are we going to continue with this? It’s the tenth game in a row that condemns us! We don’t run, we don’t press, we lose all the balls and on top of that he takes childish penalties!
He closed his speech with the now famous phrase: “We play 10 against 12, and we all know it.”
The subsequent silence was deathly. Neither Lewandowski (who stared at the ground), nor Flick, nor the captains (Ter Stegen and Frenkie de Jong) knew how or wanted to respond on the spot. Only Gavi, according to sources, nodded his head while removing his shin guards.
Lewandowski’s numbers this season are devastating in the negative:
5 goals in 15 League games (the worst record since 2009-10). 0 goals in the last 7 games. 11 turnovers that ended in a goal by the rival (historical record in LaLiga). 3 penalties caused against (all due to avoidable hands or fouls).
0.31 expected goals (xG) per game, the lowest of his career.
Meanwhile, Raphinha is experiencing the best moment of his sporting life: 14 goals and 11 assists in all competitions, the team’s top scorer and the only culé player in the top-10 of the Golden Boot.
Sources from the locker room assure that the Brazilian had already privately warned Flick and Deco three weeks ago: “If we continue like this, we are going to throw away the League.”
The reaction on the networks was immediate. #RaphinhatieneRazon became a global trend in less than an hour, with more than 280,000 tweets.
Former players like Gerard Piqué (“Sometimes you have to tell the truth even if it hurts”) and Bojan Krkić (“The locker room always knows before anyone else”) fueled the fire.
Even Vitor Roque himself, a regular substitute, uploaded a story with the phrase “Football doesn’t lie” accompanied by a fire emoji.
For their part, Lewandowski’s entourage leaked late last night that the Pole “is devastated” and that “he is considering asking to leave in January if the situation does not change.”
His agent, Pini Zahavi, has already contacted clubs in the MLS and Saudi Arabia, where they offer astronomical contracts until 2027.
Hansi Flick, in the press conference after training on Monday, tried to put out the fire with warm water: «We are a family. There are emotions after the games, but everything is talked about inside. “Robert is our offensive captain and he continues to have my trust.”

However, when asked if Lewandowski will start next Saturday against Mallorca, the German responded with a brief: “I will decide that during the week.”
In the club no one dares to predict the outcome. Laporta, according to close sources, is “furious” with the leak, but also “aware that Lewy’s performance is unsustainable.”
Deco, for its part, has already activated the exit operation: the name of Viktor Gyökeres (Sporting CP) is again being heard strongly for January, while that of Vitor Roque gains integers to be the starting ‘9’ from 2026.
What is certain is that Raphinha has broken the taboo. The Brazilian, who arrived in 2022 as a star and spent two years in the shadows, has become the most authoritative voice in the locker room.
And his message has been clear: either the center forward changes, or Barça will not win anything important again.
The next chapter will be written on Saturday in Son Moix. But no one doubts it anymore: in today’s Barça, the one who wears the invisible armband is Raphinha.
