Lamine Yamal played his 100th game in professional football in Barcelona’s recent 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano in La Liga.
Even though he might’ve not been able to get amongst the goals on the night, the Spaniard’s family members were in the stadium for this prominent achievement in his career.
What is most surprising is that Yamal’s grandmother Fatima was also in attendance to watch her grandson in action for Barca.
She was seated in the VIP section and made the journey to support Lamine for the La Liga game, making a rare appearance for a live Barca match.
Lamine reacted to a picture of his grandmother Fatima from the game, giving a few heart and love emojis to showcase how grateful he was to see her there.
Despite not being able to score a goal in quite a few games now, the teenager is still enjoying a brilliant 2024/25 season in which he’s scored 11 goals and provided 15 assists in 32 games this season.
