Post Malone knows music and the Dallas Cowboys like the back of his hand, and now he gets to perform in their stadium on one of the biggest days of the year.

The country-rap artist will perform at halftime on Thanksgiving, as the Dallas Cowboys take on the four-time super-bowl champions and Taylor Swift’s fiance in AT&T Stadium, the Kansas City Chiefs.

“He used to come over every night and sleep in [Texas Stadium],” Jones said. “And he slept over there for years, because his mother was working. And then she would finish her work and then he’d go home.”

He also added, “Oh, yeah, for several years. Probably four or five (years). Had a cot for him and he slept.”

This is not the first time Malone has performed at AT&T stadium, as he showed off his vocal skills in May 2025 with Jelly Roll.

“I’m from Texas. I grew up a Cowboys fan and have been watching this halftime show for years. It’s a real honor to be part of the Red Kettle Kickoff with The Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys and help bring hope to so many people,” said Malone on performing for the Cowboys.

For Malone’s dad, its going to be an incredible full circle moment.

“It’s just beyond something that we could’ve imagined when he started this musical career, or I started my job with the Dallas Cowboys,” said Rich Post, the father of Post Malone in an interview with NBC5.

Post worked for the Cowboys from 2005 to 2019 and said the Cowboys were the heart of the family.

Dallas will take on the Chiefs with a struggling and pressured secondary, as they have added a few new players during the bye-week and are expecting a few to come off the injured list. It’ll be a faceoff between Dak Prescott and Patrick Mahomes while the entirety of the United States munches on a turkey leg.
