Real Madrid have officially announced the signing of French centre-back Ibrahima Konate.
Los Blancos have acquired him on a free transfer after his contract with Liverpool expired at the end of the 2025/26 season.
He has signed a contract until 2030.
Konate will reportedly receive a signing bonus worth €20 million as part of the transfer, and his salary will be around €12m per year.
The 27-year-old will try to reinforce Madrid’s backline with his intimidating physicality and excellent recovery speed.
He is currently with the French national team at the 2026 World Cup.
