Everyone has an opinion on Dodgers RP Edwin Diaz’s brimless hat
Los Angeles Dodgers closer Edwin Diaz is by no means a beacon of the fashion industry, but he turned heads on Tuesday with his baseball cap.

A photo of Diaz in the bullpen during the second leg of a three-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre in Toronto has gone viral because of his brimless baseball cap.
The photo was posted by Jake Mintz of Céspedes Family BBQ, and it shows a smiling Diaz giving a thumbs-up while proudly showing off his Dodgers cap, which is missing its brim.
And apparently, Diaz is just a disciple of the Tanner Scott school of fashion.
Like most new trends, Diaz’s brimless headwear has elicited strong reactions.
“lol if that starts a trend, wow. Hard pass,” a fan said.
“Dodgers continue to be the worst thing to happen to this beautiful sport,” a social media user on X shared.
“Sincerely hope that’s the only thing he’s copying Tanner Scott from,” another one commented.
“Do they know what the purpose of a hat is?” a different fan asked.
“Wonder how it looks from the side and back but from the front it looks fine or dare I say cool,” another comment read.
The Dodgers probably doesn’t have a problem with whatever Scott and Diaz do to their hats, as long as their cap experiment is not affecting their play on the mound.
Diaz surely got the job done on Tuesday, as he earned his fourth save of the season (and as a Dodger) by allowing zero earned runs on a hit with a walk issued and three strikeouts in a 4-1 victory over Toronto.
