Ruben Neves honours late friend Diogo Jota with heartfelt tattoo
Rúben Neves has honoured his late friend and former teammate Diogo Jota with a deeply personal tribute — a tattoo symbolizing their unbreakable bond.
The tattoo, unveiled recently, serves as a permanent reminder of their strong bond, which transcended football.
Neves and Jota shared a close friendship, having played together at Wolves and for the Portugal national team.
Following Jota’s tragic passing in a car accident, Neves has been at the forefront of tributes. He attended the funeral in Gondomar, Portugal, where he served as a pallbearer, underscoring the depth of their friendship.
Despite his commitments with Al-Hilal in the Club World Cup, Neves flew back to Portugal immediately after his team’s match to be with Jota’s family during this difficult time.
