Trey Yesavage was born in 2003 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and grew up in the small town of Boyertown. According to MLB records, he attended Boyertown Area High School before developing his talent at East Carolina University – where he began attracting the attention of MLB scouts.

But behind those 95mph pitches and impressive performances lies a difficult childhood. His family wasn’t wealthy, and to sustain his training, competition, and serious pursuit of baseball, his mother had to work three different jobs simultaneously.
