Travis Kelce made a bold declaration about his and Taylor Swift‘s engagement news in a New Heights teaser clip—and he left fans in tears with the sweet sentiment.

On Aug. 26, the Kansas City Chiefs tight and pop superstar, both 35, announced their engagement in an Instagram post that nearly broke the internet.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” Swift and Kelce shared in a joint update featuring their gorgeous engagement photos.

Fast-forward to Sept. 2, and the Instagram account for Kelce’s podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, posted a sneak peek clip of Travis talking about the huge relationship news. “The most requested ‘we gotta talk about it’ of all time…NEW EPISODE. TOMORROW,” the caption read.

In the accompanying video, the Kelce brothers cheered before Travis issued a heartfelt message about his and Swift’s engagement.

“I appreciate everybody that reached out and sent something, and all the posts, all the excitement that’s been going on,” the younger sibling shared.

He then practically made fans swoon by adding, “It’s been really fun telling everybody who I’m going to be spending the rest of my life with.”

In the comments, Instagram users elicited a collective “awww” before flooding the comments with their thoughts.

One fan shared, “‘Telling everybody who I’ll be spending the rest of my life with’ 🥹😭🥹😭🥹😭 my heaaaaart can’t handle them.”

Additionally, the royal family issued a response through Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s Instagram account. One of Swift’s exes even posted a public reaction to the relationship news. Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid even got in on the engagement reaction train.
