Latest and fastest Manchester United transfer updates for December 5.

Man United Facing Semenyo Dilemma

Manchester United are struggling in their pursuit of Antoine Semenyo as the Bournemouth striker’s release clause is £60 million plus £5 million in add-ons if triggered in January. According to TEAMtalk, this fee will drop to £50 million in the summer.

This forces United to choose: spend big now to avoid being beaten by rivals, or wait until the end of the season for a lower price?

Man United Rejected in £25 Million Deal

According to Greek media, Manchester United submitted a €28 million offer (around £24.5 million) to sign Olympiacos’ young talent Christos Mouzakitis, but it was quickly rejected. The Greek champions will only allow the 18-year-old midfielder to leave if they receive €40 million (£35 million).

Sources say Real Madrid have also entered the race, making the future of the teenage “gem” even more intriguing.

Valverde Denies Rumors Linking Him to Man United

Federico Valverde appears to have shut down speculation that he could leave Real Madrid to join Manchester United — a club reportedly willing to spend more than £100 million for his signature.

Speaking to Marca, the Uruguayan midfielder affirmed his desire to stay at Real:
“I’m very happy to be part of this team. It’s an honor to have such teammates and to keep improving with the group.”

“I always try to give my best. I appreciate the support from my teammates and the coach. That makes me smile every day.”

With this statement, Valverde has all but confirmed his future remains at the Bernabéu.

Man United Given Fresh Hope in Baleba Pursuit

Manchester United may have gained an advantage in the chase for midfielder Carlos Baleba, as Brighton are believed to have identified a replacement for the 21-year-old. This opens the possibility that the Seagulls may accept letting him leave next summer.

Baleba — a Cameroonian midfielder — was previously on United’s priority list to strengthen the midfield. However, in the recent transfer window, the Old Trafford club did not submit an official bid, instead focusing on reinforcing the attack and goalkeeper positions.

If Brighton are ready to negotiate, the Baleba deal could soon be revived.
