According to Marca, Jude Bellingham has made a quick recovery after two months of treatment for his shoulder injury and is now ready to increase his training workload. The 22-year-old is expected to begin ball training when Real Madrid regroup at the start of this week and could even take part in portions of team training.

Bellingham sustained the shoulder injury during his first season with Real Madrid but postponed surgery to continue playing. It wasn’t until this past July that the England international decided to undergo surgery, with a projected return in mid-October.

During Bellingham’s absence, Real Madrid maintained solid form, winning three matches in La Liga. This period also allowed young talents like Arda Güler and Franco Mastantuono to shine and secure their places in Xabi Alonso’s squad.

Bellingham’s return will present a selection dilemma for the Spanish coach, particularly as Güler has been performing impressively in the 4-2-3-1 system.

Although Bellingham is recovering ahead of schedule, he won’t be rushed back into action. Once fully fit, he is almost certain to reclaim his starting spot, especially after his outstanding performances in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Jude Bellingham joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2023 for €127 million. In his debut season with Los Blancos, the 2003-born star immediately proved his worth with 23 goals and 13 assists in 42 appearances, helping the club secure the La Liga and UEFA Champions League titles.

So far, Bellingham has played 100 matches for Real Madrid, scoring 38 goals and providing 28 assists.

For now, he is expected to remain sidelined for about another month before making his official return in October.
