NEW details have been revealed over DK Metcalf and a fan’s confrontation during Sunday’s Pittsburgh Steelers win over the Detroit Lions.
The Pro Bowl receiver and a Lions fan got into a heated face-off during the Week 16 game.

Cameras captured the stunning scene as Metcalf walked up to a Lions fan in the stands.
The Steelers star was clutching onto the Lions fan’s blue wig while saying something to him.
Metcalf then extended his arm and appeared to punch the fan.
Apparently, the confrontation between Metcalf and the Lions fan wasn’t the first interaction between the pair.
Metcalf previously reported the same fans to the Seahawks security last season while still playing for the team, per NFL Network.
The report added that a “source close to Metcalf” said the fan “called Metcalf’s mother a derogatory word” and then called Metcalf “something we both know you don’t call a Black man.”
The fan, who’s identified himself to the Detroit Free Press as Ryan Kennedy, claims Metcalf wasn’t happy about being called his legal name instead of his common name, DK.
Metcalf continued to play the rest of the Steelers’ win over the Lions.
However, he avoided reporters after the game in the locker room.
The NFL will review the incident for possible discipline, NFL Network also reported.
He has recorded 245 receiving yards in the past three games.
Pittsburgh would have to rely on wideouts Calvin Austin III, Marquez Valdez-Scantling, and Adam Thielen, among others, to fill the potential void.
Nonetheless, the Steelers can clinch a playoff berth and the AFC North title with a win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
